FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LIVING WELL EVENT INVITES ALL TO TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR HEALTH
Watertown, MA - Overwhelmed, confused or at a plateau in resolutions to get healthy? For those who want to jump-start or expand this effort, or are just curious about the possible choices available, the Living Well event on Sunday, September 8th may be just the ticket. Held at Hibernian Hall in Watertown, 25 local service providers focusing on health and well-being will be on hand at this five hour community event, providing demonstrations, information and products to try. Attendees can simply observe, ask questions, or jump right into an activity to discover health choices from the outside in and the inside out.
Jean DiGiovanna, a Personal and Professional Coach, decided in early June to coordinate this function, and has received tremendous help from friends and colleagues in making her vision a reality. The idea came to her while she was brainstorming new marketing ideas for her business, ThinkPeople. "I enjoy marketing myself by speaking about coaching to raise awareness, plus performing live coaching on the spot. In this manner, people truly experience coaching, versus just hearing about it. Originally, I decided to hold this event to honor the people in my life who have made a difference for me. Now, I feel that the event is not only about practitioners sharing their expertise in health and wellness, it's really about providing people with choices for wellness and enabling them to take charge of their health and well being. It's an opportunity for them to go to one place and experience a variety of options."
The event will be held from 11AM - 4PM on Sunday, September 8, 2002. Hibernian Hall is located at 151 Watertown St. in Watertown. Together, the services provided by the event's vendors will offer something for everyone, including nutritious foods, yoga, Tai Chi, Shiatsu and massage, Reiki and energy work, muscle testing, magnetic therapy, dance, life and youth coaching, body image, spiritual healing and much more!
Advanced tickets are available at a reduced rate through September 6, 2002 via the web at www.LivingWellEvent.com: adult tickets are $8.00 each, kids 13 and under, free. On the day of the event, limited tickets will be sold at the door, at a price of $12.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids 13 and under. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Elizabeth Stone House in Jamaica Plain. For additional information, visit the event's website at www.LivingWellEvent.com or call 617-566-8775.
